The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2017 is just around the corner and everyone at Yacht Management cannot wait to see what this year’s FLIBS has in store for us! The most anticipated yacht show in South Florida is now here! Scroll down for all the information regarding FLIBS 2017.
This year, FLIBS turns 58, and every year the show gets better and better! There are over 1,000 yachts, 900 exhibitors, and 7 locations, but only one show like it! Yacht Management will be in attendance to show our support for the international yachting community, and to represent the Fort Lauderdale, South Florida yachting community.
Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2017 details:
When: November 1 – 5, 2017
Where: 1115 NE 9th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304
How Much: General Admission: Adult-$29.00, Child age 6 to 15: $12.00, children under 6 are Free!
What: Each year, FLIBS brings together vendors, yacht builders, designers, sport fishers, and crew and yacht enthusiasts together for five days of nothing but salt life and luxury. Yachters from all over the world attend the show to see the latest exotic superyachts and mingle with yacht community.
Why: There truly is no other international boat show like FLIBS, and people who attend every year will say the same.
This year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is scheduled a little later than usual, because of delays caused by Hurricane Irma. However, the weather is always near perfect! Fall in South Florida is the best time to be outside, enjoy the water, and enjoy the hundreds to thousands of yachts that make their way down for the show.
Since south Florida weather can be hot and humid even during the fall months, be sure to dress accordingly. Wear your breathable yachting attire and comfortable shoes. Expect to do a fair bit of walking, however, there are shuttles that ferry show goers between all 7 locations.
Keep your eyes peeled because FLIBS attracts a few celebrities as well!
