What You Need to Know About The Miami Yacht Show 2020
Miami Yacht Show is coming back to the One Herald Plaza in downtown Miami. Biscayne Bay will fill up with some of the world’s most luxurious yachts and performance boats. Spreading out from Sea Isle Marina to the MacArthur Causeway, visitors will get to walk the docks to see these stunning vessels up close. When they have had enough sun, indoor exhibitor areas will be showcasing the latest in smaller boats and maritime technology.
Admission is $45.00 per person for the prime-time preview on Thursday. Tickets go down to $30.00 per person on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Children 12 years old and under can attend the boat show for free. Before you purchase your Miami Yacht Show 2020 tickets, here are three facts about the show from your complete yacht care specialists at Yacht Management South Florida.
1. It’s Happening in The Second Week of February
The Miami Yacht Show 2020 is taking place from Thursday, February 13 to Monday, February 17. Yes, that does mean the boat show will be taking place on Valentine’s Day. While it may seem unconventional, attending the show can be one of the more interesting things to do in Miami for Valentine’s Day. Turn up the indulgence for the most romantic of days by buying tickets to the exclusive Windward VIP Lounge. Enjoy gourmet cuisine, an open bar, and champagne all day long.
2. It’s Two Boat Shows Combined
For the second year in a row, the Miami Yacht Show and the Miami International Boat Show are joining forces to host Miami’s premier yachting event. Water taxis and busses will zip attendees to and from the yacht show in One Herald Plaza and the boat show in Miami Marine Stadium. The Miami International Boat show will be displaying smaller vessels, from fishing boats to yacht tenders. If you want to see the largest yachts participating in the show, take a water shuttle to the Island Gardens Deep Harbor on Watson Island to enjoy the SuperYacht Miami experience.
3. There Will Be 2,000 Boats on Display
Combined, the Miami Yacht show 2020 and the Miami International Boat Show 2020 will have 2,000 boats on display. More than 400 of those boats will be in-water, lined up across 60 acres of dock space. The most anticipated vessel is the M/Y BOLD, the brand-new mega yacht from Australian builders Silver Yachts. This 279-foot explorer yacht was built in 2019 and will be making its debut at the Miami Yacht Show 2020. Be sure to see this ultra-modern vessel with the other superyachts at the deep-water docks of Island Gardens Deep Harbor.
